We are currently looking for our:

Senior Accountant - Consolidation & Technical Accounting

What we offer

The position will be an integral member of the corporate finance group, reporting directly to the Manager of Consolidation and Technical Accounting.  This position will assist with the consolidation of the Company’s wholly owned and joint venture properties, including the analysis of equity and investment accounts.  The position will also prepare quarterly balance sheet, income statements and schedules for the parent company, lenders, and shareholders.

Scope

• Contribute to consolidated US GAAP and IFRS financial statements on a quarterly basis.


• Assist with the semi-annual US GAAP and IFRS audits.


• Assist with annual US GAAP audited consolidated financial statements and footnotes.


• Maintain/upkeep Company’s consolidation methodologies (consolidated percentages, ownership structure) in SAP as required by changes because of acquisitions, disposals or requirements for tax purposes.


• Prepare SAP environment for each upcoming quarterly close.


• Prepare quarterly consolidation package including but not limited to analysis of capital, minority interest, investment in unconsolidated joint ventures, profit and loss and manual adjusting journal entries.


• Monitor, and if necessary, develop and implement policies, procedures, and schedules to assure the integrity of the financial records.


• Special projects and analysis as required.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.


• 3-4 years of public and/or private accounting experience.


• Prior experience with consolidation and joint venture accounting along with a CPA would be a plus.


• Prior experience in working on financial statements analysis, including cash flows would be required.


• Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills and be able to work independently as well as in group setting.


• US GAAP and/or IFRS experience is a plus as well as experience with JD Edwards and SAP BFC (Consolidation and Reporting application).

Exempt

$90,000 – $100,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
