Infosys is seeking Technical Architect- Java Cloud Microservices. In this role you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA or be willing to relocate to the area. Candidate can also be located anywhere within the US and / or be remote and be willing to work during PST hours. This position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
• Experience in working with distributed systems and building/maintaining highly available applications and services, preferably on a cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or other hybrid cloud environment
• Experience in building and managing micro-services-based applications, with a solid understanding of the challenges presented by the architecture including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring, and independent scaling of services, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
•Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
• Understanding of API gateways, API lifecycle management and Hands-on experience in building, designing, and using web services, preferably REST APIs
• Understanding and experience on application Security considerations, NFR, SEO, personalization
• Understanding and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps Lifecyle and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural details to stakeholders at different levels (executive, technical and non-technical) through UML diagrams, crisp documentation and white-boarding as required.
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

For candidates based out of CA, WA, NY, & CO states, estimated annual compensation will be $73,000 to $102,200.
