What You’ll Do:
Utilize the reconciliation system to perform and review daily, monthly or quarterly reconciliations by analyzing and comparing transaction data from various external and internal sources to general ledger transactions and determine outstanding reconciling items including Loan Control, ACH and NSF clearing, posting rejects, Unapplied Funds.
Analyze, research and resolve complex inquiries through tasks in compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines.
Research and analyze reconciling items, as necessary, to decide how they might be resolved/cleared by working with various departments within the company and other outside sources.
Assist in the preparation of key performance indicators on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Review and address all research requests for quality, completeness and accuracy.
Generate, fulfill and distribute required and requested reporting.
Participate in special projects for the department as assigned.
Ensure proper file maintenance on customer loans.
Take ultimate accountability for the achievement of goals set forth by management.
Work in team environment and assist with other teams as needed. Be a contributor in team huddles. Participate on special projects for department as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred
3 years previous experience in Bank Finance/Accounting, Financial Reconciliation, Deposit Operations or Loan Operations functions, particularly reconciliation-related experience, is recommended Mortgage knowledge and experience are strongly desired
Advanced Computer Skills, Advance Excel Skills, Marco Building and Execution
Additional hours beyond the standard 8 hour day may be required, in certain situations, to complete reconciliation-related tasks in expected timeframes
