Your Role:

The Newark, DE office is looking for a Civil Engineer to perform a variety of tasks including those required for land development such as site grading and drainage; erosion and sediment control; stormwater management; utility design; preparation of construction plans and specifications. Other potential duties may include assistance with permitting, Operations and Maintenance contracts, environmental engineering, landfill design, roadway design, floodplain modeling, and other tasks.

Qualifications:

4 to 10 years engineering experience. Ability to independently prepare construction plans using AutoCAD and other Software on various civil and environmental engineering projects. Knowledge of stormwater management practices and computations. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D features is a plus.

Strong oral communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff. Must be able to function within a team.

Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
Ability to obtain Professional Engineer Certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This position is primarily office based.
