Job Description:

The Manager's Reception Host at the Holiday Inn Express in North Platte plays a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests during their stay. You will be responsible for managing the hotel's Manager's Reception, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and relaxing time in our hospitality space. Guest satisfaction and safety is of paramount importance. Attendants are expected to interact with hotel guests and co-workers in a positive, friendly manner. A winning smile, positive attitude and the ability to work independently are a must!
Hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm. Starting pay for this job is $15 to $16 per hour, plus tips.
Primary Duties
Hospitality: Greet guests warmly as they enter the reception area, making them feel welcome and valued. Provide assistance and information regarding the reception offerings, hotel amenities, and local attractions.Event Coordination: Plan and execute the reception, including setup and breakdown of the area and ensuring that all necessary supplies and refreshments are available.Customer Service: Anticipate and address guests' needs and preferences promptly and professionally. Handle any guest inquiries, requests, or concerns in a courteous and efficient manner, striving to exceed their expectations.Beverage Service: Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel policies and legal regulations. Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guests' age and monitoring their consumption to prevent overindulgence.Food Service: Coordinate the service of light snacks, appetizers, or hors d'oeuvres during the Managers Reception. Ensure that food presentation is appealing, and replenish supplies as needed to maintain a high-quality experience.Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the reception area throughout the event. Regularly monitor and restock supplies, clean tables and surfaces, and promptly address any spills or messes to uphold hygiene standards.Communication: Effectively communicate with other hotel staff members to coordinate guest services and resolve any issues that may arise. Keep management informed of any feedback, suggestions, or incidents related to Managers Reception.Sales and Promotion: Promote hotel amenities, services, and special offers during the reception to encourage guest engagement and enhance their overall experience. Upsell additional services when appropriate, ie: business trips, group stays. Safety and Security: Adhere to hotel safety and security procedures at all times to ensure the well-being of guests and staff. Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing any potential hazards or risks during the reception.Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the hotel's brand values of excellence and hospitality. Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for providing exceptional guest service.
