Job Description:

What You Will Do


  • Implement new strategies in real time process inspection of product, and improve an already great production process.

  • Develop strategies to reduce dependence on vanishing oil usage.

  • Changing existing die design strategy from nitrogen spring focus to traditional die spring focus in coining stations.

How You Will Do It


  • Completing installation of new vision system on one line and developing more robust programming techniques.

  • Studying the correlation of vanishing oil usage to individual production dies and products.

  • Working with Tool and Die department to cycle tools out of production long enough to make the changes, and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of needed components.

What We Look For


  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.

  • Pursuing an undergraduate in Engineering.

  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.


  • Duration: Summer 2024. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.


  • Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in Red Oak, IA.
