Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:



• Coordinates with the US Bridge Lead Engineer/Component Manager and develops


schedules, plans, summaries, spreadsheets, etc. that are necessary to fully develop a


scope of work from design inception to onsite performance. This may include oversight


of field work along with oversight of supplied materials.


• Maintain high-level of schedule consciousness and forecasting. This is necessary to


maintain schedule of activities related to the development of design documents


necessary to perform the work along with management of subcontractors and/or


suppliers performing the work and/or supplying materials.


• Maintain thorough daily records of work performed onsite under their supervision.


• Maintain accurate cost and quantity reporting of work performed.


• Participate in the development of Safety requirements related to an assigned scope of


work, such as writing of Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and Safety Task Assessments


(STAs), participating in weekly safety assessment/observations, participating in safety


meetings, etc. Should exhibit a high-level of safety consciousness and lead by example


what safety excellence is.


• Participate in the development of Quality requirements related to an assigned scope of


work, such as assisting Quality representatives in the development of Inspection and


Testing Plans (ITPs) along with material receiving inspections, quality observations,


quality inspections, processing of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) etc.


• Lead the effort of developing Construction Work Plans (CWPs) or Means and Methods


Statements (MMSs) related to an assigned scope of work. CWPs and MMSs are the


tools to communicate clear direction to field craft and ensure the performance of safe,


timely, productive, and quality work.


• Participate in the review of Foreman daily time sheets and/or reports and audit for


accuracy. Prepare reports as required for daily/weekly production.


• Ensures project costing requirements and trends are monitored.


• Provides technical information and field oversight for an assigned scope of work.


• Provides technical assistance to Superintendents.


• Ensures all copies of specifications and construction drawings are latest issue and distributes as required to the Superintendent(s).


• Advises Superintendent and US Bridge Lead Engineer of all changes in scope of work assigned


• Leads the development/issuance of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Field Clarification Requests (FCRs) related to an assigned scope of work. Leads the effort of resulting Design Change Notices (DCNs) or Project Changes.


• Lead coordination and scheduling efforts with Subcontractors/Suppliers for an assigned scope of work.


• Keeps accurate record of daily jobsite diary and daily inspection.


• Provides monthly estimates, as required, for completed work and participates in monthly billings related to assigned scope of work, which may include gathering of information to help develop monthly pay certificates.


• Participates in the coordinates and supervision of surveying needs.


• Other related duties that are necessary to manage an assigned scope of work from design inception, thorough planning, to execution and completion.



QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:



• Bachelor of Engineering from recognized University.


• 0-5 years' experience in heavy civil construction.


• High self-motivated and eager to gain new experiences.


• Ability to foresee challenges in our work and plan towards mitigating them to maintain schedule.


• Ability to work independently and problem-solve with end goal in mind, as well as participate in group planning/execution.
