As a Sales Manager, you will be part of the Coatings Services Business Development Team and will hunt for, engage, contract, and develop new customers. You will work with commercial and operations teams and with other PPG Teams such as Auto OEM, Mobility and APA. Success in the role will be measured through organic growth, pipeline conversion rate and segment diversification. You will report to a Business Development Director.

You will be based remotely within the target region and travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customer relationship penetration strategies


• Identify new sales opportunities


• Build winning value propositions using both CSV and PPG's portfolio


• Partner with regional commercial teams to prospect and win opportunities


• Partner with Auto OEM, APA and Mobility business to present comprehensive solutions


• Mobilize functions to win business


• Communicate status of opportunities across regions and teamswithin PPG


• Understand customer values, competitive landscape, and PPG's relative advantages


• Coordinate PPG's support of customer launches and issue resolution


• Travel >50% domestic
  
  

Qualifications

• B.S. / B.A. in Engineering or Business


• 5+ years of customer facing commercial experience


• Prior coatings experience


• Experience selling to the Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, or Mobility industries
