Strategic Account Manager at PPG INDUSTRIES INC

Job Description:

As a Strategic Account Services Manager, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, or grow existing customer business with national accounts (OEM, dealers and consolidators)! You will develop key market relationships to facilitate business growth (insurance relations, OEM relations, industry relations and distribution relations)!

Key Responsibilities :


  • Owns the sales efforts and handles account corporate relationship.

  • Mentor sales staff to secure potential strong regional strategic accounts; formulate and analyze buying agreements.

  • Understand competitors, their offerings (products & services) and develop counter measures ie: product, profitability, process management and asset evaluation.

  • Maintain account target list with profiles; identify industry trends and initiatives (distributors, e- commerce, insurance companies, CSI providers, consultants)

  • Analyze, negotiate, and document customer contracts in accordance to PPG guidelines.

  • Develop relationships and promote PPG strategic initiatives; attend industry functions; develop partnership initiatives.


Qualifications :


  • Business degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 7 years business experience
