We are currently seeking an Engineering Cell Leader to join our dedicated team in Lancaster, PA.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Cell Leader is responsible for leading a team of in-house engineering personnel in the production of accurate shop drawings and information necessary for fabrication, measured by quality, schedule and cost conformance. The Cell Leader contributes directly to producing drawings and information, coordinates and directs team assignments and provides technical direction to team members.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred with a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.


• In lieu of the degree, a minimum of 7-10 years of related experience is desired with a demonstrated competence in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.


• Skill must be demonstrated in preparing and interpreting drawings and other technical documents required for structural steel fabrication.


• A thorough understanding of the CAD, engineering information and technical systems is required, as well as a sound knowledge of the relationship and interaction of other company departments.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATES, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• Certification verifying drafting, detailing or modeling experience may be required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

• The Engineering Cell Leader reports to the Detailing Manager.
