Our Barista-Espresso Clerks are responsible for making and serving beverages to customers at our Espresso and Coffee bars.

Responsibilities
Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink ordersPreparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate onesAnswering customers questions about menu choicesPromoting and recommending menu options to customersTaking payment from customersMaintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairsKeeping the work environment sanitary and organizedEvaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service Working to attract new customers and expanding the menuOther duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent18 years or olderListen well and communicate in a professional and friendly mannerFocus on customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer servicePractice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beveragesMust be efficient and organizedBuild good relationships with customersMaintain a clean work environmentKeep supplies replenished to minimize downtime

Working Conditions
Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard.
