As the Quality Assurance Supervisor at our Ennis, TX plant, you will lead aspects of the quality organization, encompassing planning, staffing, leadership, and technical guidance to maintain a cost-efficient quality system, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality personnel, support receiving inspections, process inspections, product testing, and other areas of quality.


• Maintain a leadership role in representing the quality organization within PPG Traffic Solutions.


• Lead a culture of continuous improvement in procedures, processes, and customer satisfaction.


• Collaborate with other departments to exceed customer requirements.


• Maintain verification and calibration of lab equipment.


• Report important quality process indicators.


• Lead internal audits and comply with ISO9001 and other certification requirements.


• Review and maintain accuracy of quality documents.


• Work with state DOT labs to meet all pre-test requirements and track approval status.


• In collaboration with leadership and peers, develop changes in quality processes and organization, industry standards, and regulatory guidance.


• Other responsibilities as assigned to adapt to organizational needs.

• We ask that you have a bachelor's degree in a science field or equivalent with 3 years, or more, of quality control experience within a production environment.


• Previous Quality Supervisory/Management experience.


• Familiarity with IS09001.


• Previous Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and Six Sigma Methodology.


• PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan experience.


• Must be U.S. citizen or eligible to work in U.S.
