Job Description:

HPE North America Sales is hiring a US Industries Sales Leader to join our team. In this role, you will lead an experienced team of Account Management sales professionals with the mission of driving profitable growth through consultative solution selling to our largest accounts. This team supports the full HPE portfolio and as-a-service offerings and are responsible for building deep relationships with our largest accounts. This role is responsible for understanding customer KPIs and desired business outcomes, aligned by vertical industry, to drive relevant workload and solution conversations. You'll be responsible for setting the direction and managing the deliverables of the assigned sales team and achieving revenue and expense objectives for HPE's largest and most critical accounts. The critical focus areas for this effort will be AI, Cloud and Software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Provide leadership to large team on overall sales strategy, cost optimization, and disciplined process management (pipeline review, asset management, demo sales achievement, etc.)

  • Build long-term growth strategy to increase business with key accounts.

  • Deliver business growth and achieve overall metrics (revenue, gross margin, market penetration, installed base retention, cost control, customer satisfaction, workforce dashboards, etc.).

  • Drive, support and influence BU business models, go-to-market strategies, and sales/marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure optimum sales coverage through direct and partner sales resources.

  • Create a performance driven culture in acquiring, developing, coaching and holding team members accountable in developing/progressing opportunities to support growth and best talent on the team

  • Develop, implement and execute the consultative, solution selling capabilities in the organization to develop compelling business cases to differentiate and highlight the value of the company's broad portfolio.

  • C-Level Partnering - Contribute to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promotes its total solution capabilities at the highest levels of the client's organization.

Experience and Skills


  • Proven track record of success as a sales executive large global matrixed technology company leading teams of 100+.

  • Orchestrate the development of strategic sales plans that reflect the company's business strategy, to advance market share/penetration, and achieve profitable growth.

  • Exceptional skills in relationship management and delivering operational vigor

  • Complex Deal experience - ability to win transformative deals for large customers with Cloud/SaaS/AI products and/or services that are high-value and/or customizable

  • Collaborate effectively with the company's BUs and value chain partners to ensure operational rigor and sales hygiene. Includes responsiveness to challenges, and alignment with business imperatives. Acts decisively once decision is taken.

  • Budget Management & Cost Optimization - Establishes, tracks and enforces spending parameters to protect the company's business and sales assets, and ensures their effective engagement.

  • P&L Management - Sets and manages the business investments and resource allocations

  • Experience with AI and/or Cloud solution sales is highly preferred.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $342,000.00 - $684,000.00
