Job Summary:
With guidance from a Level A Hydraulic Mechanic and or their Management supervisor, the incumbents are expected to take direction and work under the direct supervision of a Level A Mechanic and or the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Take direction and followings work instruction, written or oral, on tasks to be performed on a daily and weekly basis. Good fundamental mechanical skills and understanding of plumbing and mounting components under the guidance of their supervisor
Mounts components in fluid systems and with direct oversight
Work with the guidance and selection of pipe and tube size as determined by Level A Hydraulic Mechanic and or Manager
Uses hand and power tools
Supports the senior mechanics with troubleshooting hydraulic components and hydraulic systems
Maintains all documents and paperwork pertaining to the job
Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must have a Secret clearance
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Education and Experience:
One to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
