The qualified applicant will be expected to assemble components and perform all primary and secondary operations associated with the assembly operation. At a minimum, the technician will be able to follow an assembly manual without supervision.
Responsibilities
Assembly of components and or complete assemblies either bolted or structural bonded.
Fully trained and signed off as a qualified operator for all assembly processes associated with the assembly department. (e.g. Torqueing, Lock Wiring, Structural Bonding and Measuring.)
Able to produce assembled units at the established production rates, not exceed expected scrap rates and inspect / verify that all assembled parts meet all quality requirements.
Follow all work instructions as trained; including but not limited to Assembly manuals, Work Orders (routers), Supplemental Quality Inspections, General Workmanship Standards, part print/drawing, etc.
