Description
Sentient Digital Inc. is seeking an experienced IT leader to serve as our IT Program Manager. As IT Program Manager on our team, you will:
Be empowered to provide leadership to a large team including, but not limited to, project managers, network/system engineers, enterprise architects, cybersecurity engineers, and process improvement specialists. Have awareness of the entire program scope and provide oversight and accountability for various tasks related to the delivery, management, maintenance, and evolution of U.S. Navy Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (C4S) environment, policies, and systems. Maintain responsibility for client deliverables, scheduling, and resourcing coupled with your technical knowledge of managing and fielding large multi-million-dollar, world-wide projects to deliver innovation and success to our customer. Translate goals and stakeholder needs into well designed project plans.

Job Summary
The chosen candidate will be a motivated collaborator with a detail-driven personality who works well supporting a diverse staff across multiple, matrixed, functional areas and locations. This position works with both government and contractor/subcontractor staff. You must be able to collaborate, present, and disseminate technical and non-technical information to peers, project managers, and customers. You will be responsible for the management of contracts/task orders, personnel morale, customer satisfaction, and SDis financial goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership with a commitment to developing, engaging, and retaining a high-performing team; collaborating across organizations; and helping integrate business strategy development aligning to SDis strategy. Advising Senior Leadership of major developments throughout execution. Supporting in the resolution of issues and conflicts that may arise during Contract and Task Order implementation and escalating them as needed. Directing managers and key leads in resource allocation, personnel decisions, and business priorities. Development of key customer and partner relationships. Understanding the customers desired outcomes, translating these priorities into actionable plans and then drive execution of these plans with the customer. Carrying out task order management and lead responsibilities for Task Orders in times of project management need: deliverables, resources, schedules, meetings, and Task Order team performance. Expanding SDis offerings to the customer by identifying potential areas of value for our products/services and articulating potential return on investment in a way that resonates with customer. Contributing to business development activities, such as proposal writing support, strategic meetings, and potential partner engagement. Contributing to SDis commitment of enhancing contract operations/deliverables and business development strategy/delivery through the effective and proper use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Qualifications
BS degree in science, engineering, or math.
M.S. degree in engineering, math, or computer science required, or equivalent work experience in direct support of DOD system engineering including IT systems project/program management.
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certified, or the ability to achieve ITIL Foundation certification within six weeks of start date.
Minimum of six (6) years of managing one or more program(s) of high complexity providing complete cost, performance, and schedule oversight, working with a distributed organization, and a demonstrated record of leading and managing a diverse technical team. (Military service will be considered as relevant to education and overall experience.) Knowledge of IT engineering methodologies, tools, and technologies. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Demonstrated understanding of AI tools, interfaces, and basic queries. Ability to establish positive, constructive relationships with technical and functional staff, managers, and peers within the Operation, Group, and across SDis organizations. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential and should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community. Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership, public groups, and/or senior customers. Demonstrated understanding of the methodology necessary to target and capture future work, along with demonstrated results.

Additional Requirements
This is an on-site position and may involve nominal travel. Currently possess an active SECRET security clearance.

Physical requirements for this position include the ability to life 25 pounds regularly, the ability to move safely in confined spaces, the ability to wear personal protective gear correctly when needed, the ability to go onsite to company and customer worksites, the ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, the ability to use a computer keyboard, and the ability to see and respond to dangerous situations when needed.
