This position is critical to support Manufacturing sites with the Other Product Cost Incurred Manufacturing V ariances, Standard Cost Activities , Month End Journal entries and OPC variance explanations. The position is based in Puerto Rico . Th e role will partner with Global Operations Finance Business Partners, our Global Manufacturing GC COE teams, Controllership and FP&A Teams. The role will support ensuring GC COE processes, timelines, reporting, and analysis deliver on our business objectives .

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the GC COE processes focus on Incurred Manufacturing Variance mainly associated with Material Variances , USCV , etc . Support the LBM Standard Cost Process. Responsible to deliver OPC actual results reports, compare different scenarios and provide monthly explanations. Monitoring and control spending , identify drivers and provide reduction plan . The role supports East manufacturing region. This is a permanent full time hybrid position.

This role is critical to deliver on the financial commitments, and continuously drive improvements, standardization, and efficiencies within our GC COE processes. The successful candidate will partner within GOSC to report, analyze, and articulate our GC COE financial performance.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.




    • Maintain deep understanding of Incurred Manufacturing Variances and how operational performance is translated to financial results.
    • Collaborate with Controllership, Manufacturing Site Operations and Finance partners, Global FP&A and Global SC to develop processes, analysis and presentation content that transforms data into insights to influence our financial performance.
    • Identify Risk and Opportunities and find mitigation plan.
    • Monitoring spending and providing status weekly.
    • Performs and analyzes financial trends, variance analysis , expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements.
    • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compile and consolidate financial plans and provides insights to management.
    • Develops, maintains , and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.



    • Analyze or prepare reconciliations as required .
    • Other tasks under the position range as required for the organization.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required in Finance /Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have


  • Experience in supporting manufacturing and knowledge of cost accounting general accepting principles.
  • Global ex perience, working in large, complex, matrix organization s.
  • SAP knowledge
  • Advance level in Excel desirable
  • Hyperion , and Essbase desirable
  • Power BI desirable
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative .
  • Comfortable and articulate in presenting financial results to a large audience.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning and increases in job responsibilities .
  • Excellent problem - solving skills.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize systems /data to produce insightful analysis and drive prudent recommendations.
