This position assists the Parts Business Unit Manager & Product Support Sales Manager in managing current programs & provides the sales team with information and reports. He/she monitors and advises on the status of programs associated with Parts Marketing in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” 


Pay Rate:  $57,000.00 - $70,120.92 Annually
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

  • Administers Caterpillar Merchandising Programs, i.e. special pricing agreements for GET, filters, U/C hydraulic hoses, etc.

  • Administers Caterpillar market-specific programs CAP, RDD, etc.

  • Administers Caterpillar and Wagner sales-incentive programs

  • Assists PSSM and PSSR’s with general typing, customer correspondence, formal quoting, and reporting

  • Documents and communicates program related progress and shortfalls to the management team to ensure company needs and timelines are met

  • Generates and ensures delivery of monthly reports

  • Check and reviews work orders for proper program billing

  • Ensures both balance sheet and P&L statement accounting is accurate

  • Approves invoices as required

  • Provides general staff support for Parts Management, Product Support Sales Manager, and sales force with regard to Parts Merchandising Programs

  • Organizes efforts across multiple departments, exhibiting strong project management skills

  • Tracks and submits claims to Caterpillar

  • Reports monthly on status of all programs

  • Works with Product Support Sales Manager to develop consistent process for the development and reporting of program sales

  • Works with Service Managers/Service Writers to ensure all work order data is accurate for all programs

  • Meets with Managers to identify shortfalls and make recommendations on a quarterly basis

  • Works with PSSR’s and shop personnel to document and improve process of selling special programs

  • Participates in customer status update meetings as required

  • Works with PSSR team and shop leads to ensure work order data is accurate for all contracts

  • Reviews and updates corporate discount programs annually

  • Sets up and manages new customer accounts (local and national) requiring discounts or special pricing

  • Processes PSSR commissions

  • Other duties as assigned by manager


Required Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Some college or an equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience

  • 3-5 years customer service experience

  • 1-3 sales experience


Physical Demands & Competencies:



  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills

  • Safety & Product Knowledge

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & DBS
