Your Role: US Customer Master, Data Ingestion and Data Integrity Analyst

 

The US Customer Master Data Process Analyst will be responsible for supporting the needs of the Elanco commercial business for the U.S., with a focus on working closely with our Finance team, business unit managers and sales reps to maintain data in both Elanco Connect, Veeva Network and SAP. Accurate customer data is imperative to our business and this role will help drive efficiencies and identify underlying data issues. This role should develop a strong understanding of systems (SAP/MDM/CRM) and be able to quickly determine root causes of issues presented by customers. To meet these customer requirements, this position requires an

understanding of the animal health industry, customer hierarchies and sales practices in multiple systems.

 

Your Responsibilities:  

Customer Master:


  • Investigate and handle complex scenarios that are brought to CMData team.

  • Consult with cross functional teams on how to properly process uncommon scenarios.

  • Continuously improve team operating procedures and identify areas automation and efficiencies. 

  • Provide guidance to the Customer Master team on workload prioritization and distribution of responsibilities.

  • Liaison between the US Customer Master data team and other functions.

  • Create and properly format SOPs for customer master data tasks.

  • Maintain training documentation regarding data change request entry that is distributed across sales teams and sales supports teams.

  • Monthly data maintenance activities such as SAP Hierarchy reconciliations, SAP Data pulls and Data Change processing checks.

  • Monthly Sox and ICS Assurance / Compliance (training for absence coverage)

  • Complete Data Change requests in Veeva Network (MDM system), create customer accounts in SAP, and assist in the CMData Inbox as needed.

     Data Ingestion and Data Integrity; cross train to provide absence coverage for the following:


    • Process for the ingestion of Pet Retail Dispensing and Inventory data.

    • Process for the ingestion of Distributor sales-out reported invoices and inventory data into internal Elanco systems.

    • Work with Distributors on product cross-references, inventory audits, and onboarding new reporting partners.

    • Elanco Data Verification (EDV): data cleansing and validation on EDI sales-out reported invoices prior to entering our reporting systems.

    What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): 


    • Bachelor’s degree or like experience

    • 2 + years working in Salesforce.com and/or Veeva platforms.

    • Experience working in SAP Customer Master.

    • Demonstrated success working on team projects across multiple business functions.

    • Strong communication skills.

    • Ability to prioritize and discuss expectations with the business.

    • Detail oriented.
