This position will Supervisor our 2nd Shift CNC/Hydraulics department with overall responsibility to lead the teams to ensure efficient and timely production with a high-quality standard while promoting and maintaining a safe work environment and also driving performance to achieve or exceed financial and strategic goals while motivating the personnel to create a high-performance culture. This position also ensures employee compliance with Kinze policies, practices, and core values.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Create a motivating environment for employees that encourage employee engagement and supports Kinzes Core Values.Maintain employee records including attendance, leave requests, and work assignments.Oversee employee orientation and training needs while ensuring that employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, information, and tools to do their jobs safely and effectively.Present employee communications including department and company announcements while aligning the workforce to the vision and goals and effectively translating communication into understandable terms for others. Inspires buy-in support. Lead, facilitate, and coordinate production activities between all functional areas of the cell to ensure timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectationsCreate a safety culture in the department to ensure safe working conditions for employees. Conducts safety inspections to ensure the safety of all employees.Models and enforces safety and quality policies and procedures.Initiates and continuously manages improvements to the manufacturing process.Fully engage the workforce and drive change by empowering employees with decision-making, fostering innovation, and promoting continuous learning. Maintain proper housekeeping and adherence to safety standards; use personal protective equipment and devices properly, as required.Other related duties as assigned.
