Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Database Admin. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages including leading multiple infrastructure planning and implementation including instance strategy, technical platform selection, architecture design, backup and recovery strategy ;install, deploy and test the RDBMS software with minimal interruptions to services; maintaining, securing, and operating databases and also ensures that data is correctly stored and retrieved ; Environment Migration and Security Governance for Database on On-Premises and AWS Cloud Environment ; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located in Saint Louis.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS, Pentaho / ETL process, Linux/Shell script

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile / Scrum


• MongoDB and Cassandra


• Familiar with Jira / Git tools


• Experience in Unix/Linux server management

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
