Summary of Position: The Operations Director of Postgraduate Programs owns the experience for all postgraduate students and instructors for The Princeton Review. The Operations Director oversees a remote team that manages the many moving pieces of operations and student support for live online and on-demand programs. Strong leadership and management skills required to deliver on operational and financial metrics. The hallmark of a great Princeton Review experience is a seamless, frustration-free, and compelling journey and the buck stops with the Operations Director.

Major Responsibilities:


  1. Lead a team of Operations Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators to execute on best-in-class course, tutorial, and self-paced programs

  2. Regularly review bookings, enrollment, class size, student satisfaction, instructor satisfaction, and staffing data to understand trends, identify gaps, and assist in developing strategies and tactics to respond to operational inefficiencies, market dynamics and competitor activity

  3. Rigorously review student satisfaction, case management, test result, and usage data to drive continuous improvement and assist in decision making

  4. Ensure teachers are matched with courses; maximizing teacher availability and driving teacher satisfaction in their jobs

  5. Oversee the matching of tutoring students with skilled tutors based on test type, student preference, location, and other factors

  6. Guarantee seamless course logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations with a focus on outstanding student outcomes

  7. Ensure effective instructor recruiting, hiring, and training to ensure appropriate resources exist to adequately staff our programs with high quality instructors

  8. At a high level, support enrolled students and their parents across all TPR programs through outstanding phone, text, chat, and email customer service aimed at ensuring a delightful and frustration-free experience

  9. Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations, fellow Operations Directors, and Partnership Directors to meet and exceed the needs of our students and instructors, while ensuring continuous growth in the number of both

  10. Work closely with our sales and marketing team to help guide the development for future expansion and strategies

  11. Communicate and apply strategy, initiatives, and programs directed by the Company leadership

  12. Other duties as assigned

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:  


  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred

  2. At least five years of professional experience in operations, customer/client services, or related roles in the test preparation, academic support, or online education spaces

  3. Experience managing successful teams and motivating employees to succeed

  4. Enthusiastic, confident and optimistic demeanor with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  5. An attention to detail, not letting anything fall through the cracks and a knack for anticipating problems and issues before they happen

  6. Ability to manage your own time and work remotely from your manager, teammates, and clients

  7. Strong written and oral communications skills

  8. Ability to deliver strong customer service with empathy and compassion for students and parents

  9. A highly competitive nature with a desire to set and beat goals

  10. Experience working collaboratively to achieve objectives

  11. An ethic of personal responsibility; a need to hold yourself accountable on behalf of a team

  12. Modern tech fluency, including the ability to manage your responsibilities using various communication platforms, Microsoft Office tools, and proprietary platforms

 

Salary: $71,456-$92,800 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
