Join the Publix Technology Team as a Sr Business Systems Analyst in the Product Owner role where you will be part of a fast-paced, agile team leveraging Azure Cloud data analytics, reporting processes, and user interfaces. You will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and business partners to analyze and develop features to meet the ever-growing needs of our Pharmacy customers. The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, mentoring, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business partners.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
5+ years business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
5+ of experience in business systems analysis, analyzing problems and translating into solutions, producing project plans, current and future state business process modeling diagrams, and data flows
3+ years of experience working with enterprise database management systems (e.g., SQL server, Oracle) and able to write complex SQL queries to facilitate detailed data analysis
Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities
Experience in identifying business processes and supporting process improvements
Experience with promoting collaboration and teamwork, leading by example, and contributing to the productivity and morale of the team
7+ years of experience in business systems analysis
7+ years of experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a distributed environment
3+ experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure Databricks
3+ experience with Big Data (e.g., structured, unstructured) systems
3+ experience with Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS) based technologies
Experience working for a large company and within a matrix organization
Experience with project and problem management, change management, and systems development processes
Demonstrated time management skills managing multiple assignments while driving the work of others and adhering to deadlines with high quality results
Knowledge of infrastructure and systems concepts
Experience managing third party vendor relationships
Expert knowledge and experience working with pharmacy systems including working with business and technical audiences
Experience with supporting solutions requiring adherence to regulatory and compliance controls in accordance with company policies and standards
Experience with pharmacy or medical concepts, terminology, and systems
