The Service Person uses a motorized pallet jack to transport pallets of corrugated bulk boxes containing yarn packages from the warehouse to the spooling machines.  After the packaged boxed yarn barcodes are scanned. the ID card specific to the type of yarn is reviewed and the yarn is then transported to the spooling machine aisle that is going to be running the type of yarn.  The service person will operate a single-hand lift-assist that clamps inside of the tube, which allows the service person to lift the yarn package from the boxes and place it in the spooling position six inches above floor level.  Yarn packages vary in weight from 5.0 lbs to 40.0 lbs.  The Service Person will also break down bulk boxes, which include the plastic bottoms and lids and transport full waste containers to the recycle area.  They will also remove empty tubes from spooling machines.  Occasionally, the Service Person will maneuver boxes of yarn packages from pallet to pallet by walking them by hand or sliding them across surfaces.  The S Service Person does not physically deadlift the yarn boxes, which can weigh greater than 100.0 lbs.

What is my earning potential?

We now offer new competitive hourly rates starting at $14.58. In addition, our updated enhanced shift premiums $1.00 for 12 hour night shifts and $0.60 for 8 hour night shifts.

Do you offer flexible shifts?

We do! We now offer full time 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

• Transport pallets of yarn to spooling machine.


• Review ID card and place yarn packages at appropriate machines.


• Operate motorized pallet jack and return to warehouse with unused yarn packages and place into lag area.


• Transport full pallet of spool yarn by forklift to machine operator.


• Place partial spool pallets against spooling wall with motorized pallet jack.


• Breakdown bulk boxes and stack plastic bottoms, tops of bulk boxes, sides.


• Remove waste containers and place into recycle area.


• Remove empty tubes from machines.
