Job Summary: As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing our organization's business development efforts, focusing on generating, pursuing, and closing business with prospect accounts.

Job Duties:


  • Oversee the implementation and administration of our business development program.
  • Assess potential new markets, evaluate business opportunities, and develop strategies for targeting potential customers.
  • Establish and enforce standards governing lead generation, prospect contact, follow-up, and opportunity qualification.
  • Coach a team of business development representatives in assessing customer needs and positioning our products or services as potential solutions.
  • Track business development activities and report on results to management.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are completed fully and accurately.
  • Adhere to 5S standards to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of business development concepts and principles.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks following established processes.
  • Experience leading and directing the work of other employees, with full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures, with potential impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience required.
