Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Specialty Products Equipment to join our team located in San Antonio, TX. The Associate Director, Specialty Products Equipment role is responsible for driving sales and growth and m anaging the strategic deployment of growth initiatives for Specialty Products equipment nationally. The Specialty Products Sales Associate Director is accountable for achieving both short and long-term sales objectives that are aligned with LG&E's goals, and for managing and developing the strategy and tactics for the Specialty Products equipment product management, engineering, operations, and sales professionals. This role will report into the Vice President, Electronic Gases & Specialty Products (EG&SP). Responsibilities - Direct the specialty products equipment development of growth initiatives, idea generation, equipment design and manufacturing, and commercial roll out and field sales implementation. - Identify areas for growth and create strategic product line roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and value-added features. - Prioritize, plan, and oversee operations of specialty products equipment production facility including production, manufacturing, analytical, and development operations. - Coordinate safety initiatives, meet fixed and variable cost commitments, implement reliability and productivity programs, ensure compliance with quality systems and government regulations as it relates to specialty products equipment. - Manage engineering resources to accomplish the needs of the LG&E business in terms of product development and execution, establishing equipment compliance and process safety for new specialty products equipment. - Work closely with LG&E sales leadership teams to meet the specialty product equipment needs of new and existing customers. - Provide project scope, budget and schedule information to support the development of new specialty products equipment that drives revenue growth. - Develop market and product strategy that ensures fulfilment of Specialty Products equipment annual budget & product sales targets, as well as long-term sustainable growth. - Fully understand the needs of the industry segment and/or geographic areas in which Linde operates. - Develop and cultivate valuable relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the Specialty Products chemical industry. - Participate in yearly planning for marketing budgets and new product launches. - Hire, train, coach and manage the performance of product management, operations management, and sales professionals. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 10+ years sales or managing the sales function required - 5+ years of experience in product management in specialty products equipment and processes required - Ability to work independently, yet manage employees in a complex/fast paced environment across multiple geographies and locations Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2022 sales of $33 billion.
