Kleinfelder is seeking an outstanding Operations Manager to lead our Environmental team based in our Hamilton, NJ office!

As Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the performance and growth of a great team of engineers and scientists, focused on providing our Clients' with multi-disciplined solutions for their environmental needs. Services include site assessment and remediation, geologic characterization, planning and permitting, environmental/civil engineering, due diligence and regulatory compliance.

Interfacing closely with Area and Divisional leadership, you will help develop the objectives and initiatives for the operations and will be responsible for ensuring the goals for clients and financial performance are met on an annual basis. This leader will drive collaborative and pro-active stewardship of business development activities and is expected to directly engage with key Clients on a consistent basis.

The successful implementation and execution of the business plan will include delivering exceptional Client service, continuous strengthening and diversification of the practice, and providing a challenging and rewarding environment for employees.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will be responsible for: communicating the future (vision) to employees, making key hires, professional development for staff, client selection and associated marketing efforts, project delivery/management, health and safety, risk management and quality control.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA


  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in consulting or related field required. Three to five years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects and teams, with the ability to establish and execute a business plan at the operational level.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
