Here’s What You’ll Get To Do


Day-to-day activities will consist of handling and loading/unloading metal products, load securement, daily pre and post-trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer service. Unloading could include handling loose, crated, and racked metal and assorted products. Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job.


What We’re Looking For



  • At least 21 years old

  • Possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence to operate the type of equipment the applicant will be driving

  • Ability to obtain a medical examiner's certificate of physical qualification

  • At least two (2) years of verifiable, incident-free driving experience, or must have completed a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school and 1 year of verifiable, incident-free driving experience

  • Ability to determine whether transported cargo is properly located, distributed, and secured on the vehicle. Is familiar with methods and procedures for securing cargo in or on the Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)

  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public as well as law enforcement to understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records

  • By reason of experience, training, or both, safely operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)

  • Ability to handle varying road, traffic, and weather conditions

  • Satisfy all federal, state, and local government requirements

  • Good customer relations skills

  • Operation of handheld scanners and electronic logging devices

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including drug/alcohol test, previous employer, and criminal background check

  • Acceptable motor vehicle records as dictated in the company standards document

  • Order Pulling

  • Pull customer pick-up orders and load them on their truck

  • Pull and box all outgoing orders for freight line shipments daily

  • Verify all shipping orders before they are shipped

  • Receive incoming material or products and prepare to receive documents or perform barcode scanning

  • Contact Freight Line Dispatcher regarding out-going shipments

  • Routinely maintain the order of inventory on shelves. Perform housekeeping tasks daily-i.e. sweeping the floor, throwing away trash, etc.

  • Loading and Unloading Trucks

  • Other Shipping and Receiving Duties as needed

  • Drive Forklift


    • Perform safety audits as scheduled
