A Day in the Life

Your dedication to quality is important to our customers and, most importantly, to their patients. As an important member of the Connecticut Scheduling Hub in our North Haven, CT manufacturing facility, the Associate Buyer/Planner will utilize skills and experience in Planning, Purchasing, Negotiating, Production Scheduling, and Project Management to meet the goals of the team.

As the Associate Buyer/Planner you will:


  • Source, purchase, plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related materials through the production and inventory process.
  • Identify raw materials, components, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
  • In front-end procurement mode, analyze data and determine factors that affect prices and determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
  • Coordinate and follow up with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services.
  • Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers and collaborate on-demand analysis planning.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in the medical device industry
  • ERP system experience, BPCS knowledge a plus.
  • General computer and software skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner.
  • Professional, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to perform as part of a team.

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
