Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist is responsible for performing a variety of complex, specialized tasks related to the construction and repair of mold components.

Hours: 0600a-0230p M-F, OT Possible

What a typical day looks like:

• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.


• Check machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances


• Inspect components visually for surface finish and also inspect dimensions.


• Performs machine set-ups, adjust speeds and feeds to machine parts to specifications set forth in blue prints.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven ability to analyze G code and make manual program edits as needed.


• Proven ability to set up cutting tools and prove out new programs.


• Proven ability to use basic shop inspection methods to include sine plates, indicators and height gages.


• Close tolerance milling experience required.


• High speed hard milling and electrode manufacturing experience is required.


• CMM experience a plus.


• Proven ability to work with robotic equipment is a plus.


• Powermill and Powershape software experience is a plus.


• Mold manufacturing experience is a plus.


• 5 years minimum experience necessary.
