Kinze is currently seeking a Paint Hanger/Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team in Williamsburg, IA. This position assists the production process by loading and unloading the paint line while maintaining the supply and storage of parts.Position Duties:
Work safely and effectively in a Lean Manufacturing environmentHang, remove, and package parts on and off of the blue paint lineOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methodsMaintain efficiency and productivity of the powder coating to meet their customers schedules and Kinze quality standardsResponsible for quality checks to ensure parts are in specPerform regular checks of forklift to ensure good working order before operatingOperate forklift and attachments, walkie rider, and tugger safely and efficientlyInput and Retrieve data to assigned bar code unitsKeep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and data storagePerform regular echelon machine maintenance on forkliftIdentify opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and DeliveryMaintain proper 5S, housekeeping and safety standardsResponsible for your safety and safety of othersAssist other departments when necessary
