Job Description:

As the Contracts Manager, Military, you would support and operate as a member of the Military and Specialties Transparencies team that is primarily focused on US Government and Prime contracts. This hybrid position can be based at our Grand Prairie, TX., Sylmar, CA. or Huntsville, AL. facility. You will report to the Global Business Director, Military & Specialty Transparencies

Key Responsibilities


  • Advises team and leadership on contract interpretation and in developing solutions and formal recommendations.

  • Navigate, interpret and manage contracts in a heavily FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) regulated environment. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations when structuring and managing different contract types. (

  • Negotiate and execute contracts with a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing favorable terms while maintaining awareness of industry benchmarks, regulations, and market conditions influencing contract pricing.

  • Lead negotiations for the modification of contracts to ensure favorable terms for all parties involved. Develop and present compelling arguments supporting re-pricing requests, considering economic factors and contract performance. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Equitable Price Adjustment (EPA) and Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) processes within contract modifications.

  • Evaluate project requirements and recommend the most suitable contract type based on project complexity, scope and risk factors.


Qualifications


  • US Citizen

  • Experience as a Contracts Manager in a FAR and DFARS regulated environment. In-depth knowledge of these regulations and flow-downs and the ability to apply them effectively

  • Strong understanding and expertise in government contracting and contract modifications, specifically with knowledge of economic price adjustments. Analytical skills to assess the impact of changes on project parameters and associated costs.

  • 7 plus years of experience

  • Travel up to 25% both domestic and international


  • Bachelor's Degree

Salary range $110,000-$130,000 plus annual bonus
