Job Title: Enterprise Boomi Developer II

Reports to: Manager, Integrations

Location: Remote

The Role


  • Working with Deckers technology team to identify and implement the most optimal Integration solutions for the company.

  • Design and architect iPaaS integrations using Boomi in various business areas pertaining to SaaS and on-premises applications.

  • Define and gather requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.

  • Develop, test, and document integration solutions and data migration elements of various business applications and Analytics domain.

  • Establish best design and implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions.

  • Design, development, and deployment of Integration solutions for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid scenarios.

  • Design and build transaction monitoring dashboards using Boomi Flows.

  • Work with cross-functional teams and document detailed integration Process flows.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.

  • Embrace new technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Developing integration solutions using Boomi Integration Platform-as-a-Service. Translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance, and operations. Design and architect integrations using Boomi in various business areas pertaining to SaaS, On-prem applications. Work with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment. Work with cross-functional teams and document detailed integration Process flows. Understanding the business needs and implement integration solutions for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid scenarios. Lead integration Implementation and development plans and collaborated with different stake holders to deliver all milestones. Support of best practices, standardization, and minimal customization. Development/automation processes through APIs/UI framework. Developing CICD pipeline templates for code deployments.

Who You Are


  • 7+ years' experience with the entire software development lifecycle, requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment, and post-production support.

  • 4+ Years of experience in developing application integration solutions using Boomi Integration Platform-as-a-Service.

  • Knowledge of data integration patterns and approaches (APIs, Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming, etc.)

  • Advanced understanding of JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and WADL.

  • Experience on building complex mapping structures using multiple transformations.

  • Experience breaking down customer/user experiences from functional requirements into technical requirements.

  • Experience with Boomi Atom/Molecule on-prem, Cloud and Hybrid platforms.

  • Experience working with ANSI X12, Boomi AS2 configuration, REST, SOAP, JMS connectors/listeners.

  • Knowledge on Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services via OAuth 2 .

  • Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques.

  • Experience with solutions requiring advanced platform capabilities.

  • Ability to program in at least one of the following: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Python, SQL.

  • Strong ability in designing reusable and highly performant solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$130,000 - $140,000.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
