This position reports to the GC COE Finance Manager and will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis & insightful financial guidance . t his position is a key member of the Global Costing COE (GC COE) , focused on improving our financial processes' effectiveness, efficiency, and automation. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various ops departments , and finance teams to implement best practices, build capabilities and drive improvement across the GC COE.

The focus of the GC COE team is on process, systems, and reporting . Our responsibilities are to drive standardization and simplification across the business; produce and consolidate the numbers. As the Customer finance support, the key responsibilities will be providing key metrics indicators data and partnering on across the business to drive initiatives to improve efficiency and scrap rates , among others . You will be co- responsible to educate stakeholders to understand financial drivers of scrap and provide financial visibility to finance site leader to influence decision making and drive business results. In addition, this finance position will be responsible for analytical validation of strategic initiatives .

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Performs and analyzes financial modeling, economic research, trends, and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements.
  • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles, and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.
  • Develops, maintains , and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.
  • May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit, division or group.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required .
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

  • Bilingual English - Spanish
  • Strong leadership, business partnering and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Drive for continuous improvement including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes.
  • Ability to think big (strategically) and dive deep (tactically)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.
  • Desire to learn and to develop for future opportunities and job growth.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
