Job Description:

Job Summary:  

Our growing company is searching for a dynamic candidate for the position of KYC Controls within the Know Your Client - Client Service Team. This will include controls around data integrity, data cleanup, procedures and KPI’s.

Major Responsibilities:

Quality Controls


  • Perform daily and weekly controls to identify any discrepancies in and between our onboarding and downstream systems.


  • Manage the transaction report to ensure all trades have a valid KYC record in our KYC system.


  • Review and investigate discrepancies found in the Data Quality Rules.


Account Maintenance


  • Remediate known data issues in our KYC systems as well as the downstream systems.


  • Help remediate accounts found to be issues from the Data Quality Rules.


  • Support various stakeholders (Compliance, Legal, Tax) in providing client data or refreshing client data.


  • Ensuring any changes received post onboarding is accurately recorded and evidenced within all systems.


Projects and Ad Hoc Request


  • Work with IT to develop new and enhance existing controls


  • Raise change requests as necessary


  • Yearly Procedure updates


Qualification/Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Data Analytics


  • 3 – 5 years of work experience in the Finance Industry in a control setting.


  • KYC Knowledge a plus.


  • Ability to perform data analysis and be instrumental in getting the data corrected.


  • Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop an action plan.


  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information.


  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.


  • Driven and outgoing personality to be comfortable dealing with various teams around the organization. Strong written and oral communication skills.


  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.


  • Strong excel skills including VLookups and Pivot table.


The expected base salary ranges from $73,750 - $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
