Job Description:

In the role of a Snowflake Administrator, you will ensure that the Business Unit's computing environment, serving both internal employees and external customers, is built and maintained to provide a high level of availability. This person's main focus will be the support of the Cloud Data Platform. The candidate will work "hands on" and closely with several people in a very collaborative manner. Candidates should be proactive, motivated, organized, extremely flexible, and work well within fast-paced groups. This position will be part of the Snowflake platform support team and will be expected to learn basic knowledge of other applications.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, CA or be willing to relocate to the area.

• At Least 7 years of experience in MS-SQL, Oracle or Teradata


• At Least 6 Database Administration required.


• At Least 2 years of experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform Admin role


• U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.


• Demonstrated strong proficiency of T-SQL Experience with SQL replication and SQL Server Agent Experience with Data Warehouses and Data Marts Demonstrated proficiency of index design, query plan optimization and analysis required Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS alerting/monitoring tools Experience with AWS CLI and Networking Knowledge of Virtual Machines and SANs Willingness to learn new skills and new knowledge Experience in managing high transactional large databases Ability to work well both independently and with other team members Ability to multi-task required and provide rapid support in production.
