The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for overseeing the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the NetSuite platform within an organization. You will work directly with leaders in IT and Accounting to deliver business solutions through application configuration as well as support activities. This is a hands-on role where the individual will be responsible for managing NetSuite day to day. You will be a critical resource to the Accounting team, as a contributor, assisting with troubleshooting, making improvements, enhancements, and providing recommendations.
Primary Functions:
Collaborate closely with global stakeholders to understand their business requirements, informational needs, and data sources, conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.
Translate business needs into a clearly defined and detailed business requirements document or user stories, inclusive of business use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, traceability matrices as well as report mock-ups.
Clearly document and articulate As-Is with To-Be business needs and be able to educate users on NetSuite system functionality/features and help bridge the gap on processes as needed.
Design, build and deliver NetSuite solutions for optimizing the usability and functionality of the system including customization and support case resolution.
Work with the internal and implementation partner teams as a NetSuite subject matter expert
Stay ahead of the new NetSuite features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation for Financial Applications and Processes to maximize use of NetSuite capabilities.
Manage the planning and testing of all NetSuite releases.
Responsible for monitoring and triaging ServiceNow for incident and request management and responding to requestors in a timely manner and exhibiting a sense of urgency when dealing with break fix issues that directly impact end user utilization.
Investigate and resolve incidents and requests directly or engage the appropriate resources to assist.
Maintain NetSuite security based on best practices and manage/customize user roles and permissions to ensure that access is limited based on job function.
Assist in the maintenance of a roadmap for NetSuite improvements and enhancements.
Provide and enhance specific reporting needs for the Accounting team and management.
Liaise with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues.
Support the external audit process by helping related teams gather all necessary account information and documents required by our external auditors.
Create and maintain workflows, based on business requirements.
Manage quarterly and yearly financial application audit of controls and data management.
Education and Years of Experience:
College Degree or equivalent work experience
Overall experience in NetSuite can be 5+ years, with having 8+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting domain in handling complex application module administration and production support in NetSuite
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrate expertise in applying and understanding of NetSuite data model/configuration and transaction flows in the following areas:
Order to Cash
Order Management/Fulfillment
Procure-to-Pay
Record-to-Report
Fixed Assets Module
Experience administering and customizing NetSuite.
Experience with Suite Analytics data analysis and reporting a plus
Accounting background: including knowledge of internal controls and how they are applied within financial applications, is a plus.
Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively with executive leaders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong teamwork and customer service attitude in supporting end-users.
Experience generating complex saved searches, formulas, standard reports, custom reporting, forms within NetSuite, as well as dashboards, KPI's and other customizations of user's home page.
Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system.
Data import and export using CSV.
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with Avalara AvaTax and LatamReady a plus
Compensation: $50-$52/hr Contract
