The Manager, HR Compliance & Program Support monitors the implementation and operation of HR plans and programs in conjunction with our governance framework to ensure compliance, while also providing project management and supporting expense management. Based on our highly outsourced support model and large third-party vendor footprint, this role will work closely with HR business owners, third party service providers, HR Operations, and various cross functional areas (e.g., Legal, Procurement, Finance, etc.).

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:


  • Drive third party contracting on behalf of HR when commencing work with a new vendor or changing the scope of services with an existing vendor. Ensure Prudential standards and HR business terms are addressed, and contracts are reviewed and approved by the Law Department, along with engaging Sourcing/Procurement as appropriate.


  • Project manage HR projects, initiatives and/or business as usual work as needed. For each project, direct project structure, approach, and resourcing needs


  • Working with HR business process owners to review and update Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) business processes and associated key controls. Coordinate changes with the Financial Accounting Control Team (FACT).


  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits for all HR plans, programs, and operations. Partner with HR business partners and serve as a liaison with internal and external auditors to provide required documentation and response to inquiries.


  • Coordinate job candidate and other employment-related individual rights requests.


  • Support the budgeting and invoice allocation of third-party spend.


What you’ll need:


  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional work experience in human resources, shared service, operations, employee benefits, or consulting.


  • Knowledge of leading third-party relationships and contracting.


  • Experience leading projects and understanding of project management methodology.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Broad understanding of organizational compliance, including but not limited to: Sarbanes-Oxley, data subject access requests (DSARs) and audits.


  • Strong relationship management approach that demonstrates collaborative skills working with both internal and external partners.


  • Tenacious risk management and control mentality.

  • Experience in related finance, accounting, budgeting, and business planning.


  • Critical and creative thinking, with the ability to think broadly and make connections across multiple programs and processes.


  • Demonstrated leadership and talent mindset skills.


  • Strong analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.

The salary range for this role is from $107,200.00 to $159,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
