The production Control manager is responsible for leading a team that provides technical support for various applications and systems in the production environment. The production control manager ensures that the team follows the best practices and procedures for release management, DataStage maintenance, UIPath automation, RITM requests, and operations monitoring. The production support manager also coordinates with other teams and stakeholders to resolve issues, implement changes, and improve performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities


·       Review release plans for accuracy and assign to individuals on the team for deployments in Jenkins or manual deployments. The release plans are for all on-premise, cloud-based and Enterprise Datawarehouse jobs and releases.


·       Manage the maintenance of DataStage. Building projects, assigning permissions, setting up variables, updating passwords, and general maintenance.


·       Provide direction and supervision for manual job requests for software releases, data warehouse or any other production support jobs.


·       Oversee the operations of the production environment, including Enterprise System Monitoring, including managing a staff of offshore overnight support staff.


Qualifications and Skills


·       Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience


·       At least 5 years of experience in production support, release management, or system administration.


·       Strong knowledge of Jenkins, DataStage, UIPath, and Unix commands.


·       Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.


·       Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


·       Experience in leading and managing a team of technical professionals.
