Hourly: $18.00 - $21.15 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
Handle all inbound collection activity for direct deposit accounts, installment loan, and card products
Place outbound calls to delinquent direct deposit accounts
Review and handle voicemail follow-up and returned mail
Move funds using internal systems, such as Universal Maintenance Database
Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and quality assurance
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Basic knowledge of collection management software, such as TSYS, SHAW or DM9
Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem-solve
Ability to ask questions, offer solutions, retain information and apply details to future situations
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ year collections experience required
1+ year post charge-off collections experience preferred
Public Notary registration preferred
