The Manufacturing Program Manager will lead strategic industrial Programs and is responsible for achieving Program objectives. This individual works closely with the Program Sponsor and Program Management Team to define the Program objectives, create Program plans, and execute the plan to achieve Program objectives. The M. Program Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the Program deliverables are created and in which they will be used.
What will you do?
Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource, and budget commitments reflected in the Program Management Plan.
Lead the Program management team in developing and managing the Program Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Program Sponsor.
Implement and enforce change control over Program scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
Negotiate with functional managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the Program team.
Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the Program team's scope of responsibility.
Continually identify and pro-actively manage Program risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
Monitor the Program and report the Program status to management on a regular basis.
Willing to travel 25% domestic and international
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required, Masters is a plus
+3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
3+ years of experience in project management and negotiations.
Prior experience with SAP and Lean Manufacturing processes is a plus.
Strong understanding of finance and cost accounting.
+3 years of Program management (as team member or leader, but with good understanding of Program management).
