Job Description:

Coordinate initiatives with key stakeholders to establish roadmaps, program scopes, priorities, and requirements to deliver critical projects that adhere to set quality standards and deadlines. Collaborate with engineering management leads to ensure that complex technological projects stay on track and are aligned with the overall company objectives and meet technological feasibility parameters. Provide support, leadership, and motivation for project teams and liaise between stakeholders and individual contributors to create alignment and manage expectations. Leverage skills in Project Management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, Traditional PMI methods, as well as the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence), to generate and fine-tune technological programs. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to lead technical teams and accurately and objectively evaluate project risks and issues and resolve such issues where necessary. Coordinate activities of a project team, including research, analysis, documentation, design/develop testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit. Monitor and evaluate project progress, maintain project documentation, and develop presentations for communication. Create process flows and test cases, conduct testing, recognize problem areas, analyze solutions and make recommendations for resolution. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC, 11902 Burnet Rd, Suite #350, Austin, TX 78759. Salary: $95,618 - $131,250 per year.


Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Information System Security, Information Technology, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience as a IT Project Manager, Software Engineer, Information Systems Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving customer experience analytics.


Must also have the following special skills:

3 years of professional experience performing project management including establishing roadmaps, program scopes, priorities, and requirements to deliver critical projects that adhere to set quality standards and deadlines; 3 years of professional experience researching, analyzing, and validating functional and non-functional requirements with cross functional teams; 3 years of professional experience creating PowerBI Dashboards, UML Use case diagrams, Data flow diagrams and activity diagrams using Microsoft Visio and Rational Rose; 3 years of professional experience gathering data using APIs and relational databases (including SQL Server) using SQL queries, processing the data using python, and creating dashboards in Power BI and Spotfire; and 3 years of professional experience managing multiple JIRA requests and performing user experience (UX) on web & app product development.
