We are looking for a Roll Grinder to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

What you will work on:

• Responsible for heavy assembly and regrinding of large rolling mill rolls.


• Calibrate test equipment and maintain records.


• Perform mechanical repair of roll grinding machines and fixed shop equipment.


• Select, balance, and install grinding wheels. 


• Rough turn and grind rolls to desired shape and finish

What you’ll bring:

• High school graduate or equivalent


• 3-5 years of Roll Shop experience


• Availability to complete a 3 phase testing process.


• The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.


• Work and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.


• Ability to work off-shift as required
