Global DFS Technology and Process Senior Engineer

Lonza is searching for a dynamic Sr. Process Engineer to support the Global DFS Technology at our Greenwood, SC facilities. This position will provide technical support with the Greenwood CHI DFS operations and in particular will ensure the transfer of new technologies from R&D to Greenwood DFS, provide technical support on equipment and processes with the objective to improve process performances as well as standardize equipment and processes within the same entity.

Key responsibilities:

Technology transfer

• Participate in the transfer of the production equipment’s to the Greenwood DFS production environment.


• Follow-up the equipment’s and process performance on weekly basis, propose and implement solutions to increase their performances.

Technical support

• Responds to any technical problem related to DFS technologies (Lems, CFP, Z70, PFS, CTS...).


• Provide the technical expertise allowing the optimal implementation of filling and sealing processes.

Standardization of equipment and processes

• Maintain a summary table of the process and equipment’s standardization at Greenwood DFS and contribute to the standardization of all equipment’s and processes.

Key requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering


• Significant experience with technical applications and special machines


• Excellent communicator and collaborator with different levels of the organization with Greenwood DFS manufacturing teams and with Bornem Technology R&D team
