iTech AG is seeking a Product Owner to support our federal client. The Product Owner will support and guide the definition, implementation, and delivery of software products and features focused on modernizing a variety of software systems.
Responsibilities:
Work with the government team to clarify requirements (initiatives, epics, & stories)
Create detailed as-is and to-be business process maps
Manage and refine product feature backlog
Lead user story development and definition of acceptance criteria
Prioritize functionality into sprints and coordinate management of expectations
Support program level functional roadmap development
Provide functional needs and depth of understanding to the team during sprint planning
Support system demos
Help identify and manage internal and external dependencies
Coordinate efforts across the program and work dependencies with the greater team
Support Product Team scrum meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management, or relevant field
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager, working with agile software teams
Experience utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies for agile delivery of business systems and applications
Experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels
Security Clearance:
Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust
