BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Vascular Intervention Coronary Clinical Specialist in Chicago (also recruiting for additional locations, see website). The CVI Clinical Specialist will provide technical and clinical support to Sales Representatives within a defined geographical boundary. The CVI Clinical Specialist will be the technical support person for BIOTRONIK Sales Representatives and be responsible for covering all Coronary Vascular Intervention product segments. The CVI Clinical Specialist professionally represents BIOTRONIK and provides education, implant services, in service training, and other related services as necessary to sales force, physicians and other cardiac care professionals. The CVI Clinical Specialist will report through the VI Regional Sales Manager and take general instructions from local sales representatives for day to day activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide Coronary Intervention implant support within area of geographic responsibility on demand.
• Provide In-Service Training to physician, nursing and technical hospital staff and assist in coordinating with local Sales Representative in such educational seminars.
• Train sales representatives in Biotronik products and competitor products using materials provided by the training department.
• Maintain a competent and current level of knowledge in Coronary Intervention.
• Maintain a comprehensive product and technical knowledge of all BIOTRONIK Vascular products as well as competitive products including features, functions and compatibility.
• Provide implant and follow-up coverage to Sales Representatives when he/she is unavailable or in training.
• Complete expense reports on a weekly basis and send to home office.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Nursing, Physiology, Biology or Bio-Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of three years Industry experience, preferably directly related to coronary intervention sales and/or clinical sales support.
• Minimum of three years Clinical experience working in cardiac cath lab with concentration on coronary interventions.
• Valid Passport (some international travel may be required)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the Company.

• Primary travel will involve defined multi-state geography.
• Occasional travel outside region, state and some international travel required.
• 60-80% Travel
