The Pricing Analyst advises the business on and implements pricing, packaging and monetization strategies for products and services. The Pricing Analyst maintains logic, algorithms, methodologies and reporting related to pricing health of the business. Collaborates with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Data Analysis and other teams on pricing models, logic, algorithms, value analytics and pricing/discounting guidelines. Provides targeted pricing guidance by market, geography and consumer segment. Helps the business achieve sales, revenue and other objectives by identifying and executing pricing strategies and actions aligned with overall business strategy and informed by operational capabilities.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

• Performs routine pricing analyses, assessing data and metrics to help determine optimal price points, price elasticity, competitive factors, and promotional effectiveness.


• Analyzes sales and margin trends, identifying issues and areas of opportunity.


• Analyzes customer buying patterns, competitor pricing and industry/market trends.


• Supports development of pricing tools to help the company quickly respond to changing market conditions or trends


• Creates statistical and/or logical pricing models based on historical data analysis and business objectives


• Creates regular and ad-hoc sales and margin reports for management distribution.


• Works with product, sales and other relevant stakeholders to identify/craft pricing strategies focused on known customer behaviors and situations.


• Helps adapt pricing strategies according to analysis of past performance and anticipated performance given changing product, market and customer circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and at least three years relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.


• Telecommunications experience is preferred
