About the Role

The Essity Revenue Management team is currently seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to provide leadership in the analysis of the region’s overall pricing process.  This position acts as the “expert” regarding pricing knowledge, customers, insights and nuances of the region and serves as a trusted business partner to the sales force. This role will support the regional sales team and is expected to develop a strong understanding of the market.  This role interacts effectively with the sales organization and the Pricing Representative, in addition to other internal and potentially external customers.

This position will be locate in our Service Excellence Center in Appleton, WI.

What You Will Do


  • Analyze pricing activities including discounts, allowances, programs and contract price levels and develop recommendations to improve profitability and mix


  • Provide strong support to the regional sales team to facilitate day-to-day pricing decisions


  • Provide not only customer focused but, when necessary, end user focused analysis and perspective


  • Act as the “voice of reason” to ensure good financial decisions are made in the best interest of the company


  • Work in close partnership with the National Segment Sales force and the Pricing Manager to manage the overall pricing and product functions and processes


  • Manage Request For Proposal (RFP) process


  • Review opportunities, based on current governances, for profitability and escalate as needed for further approval


  • Manage the process for contract renewals


  • Develop and maintain price performance and forecast reports


  • Proactively monitor both internal and competitive pricing levels and trends


  • Facilitate the contract process to ensure contract



Who You Are


  • Associates degree in related discipline required, bachelor’s degree preferred


  • Must have 3-5 years of Pricing experience


  • Must have experience managing and processing to RFP's and contract renewals


  • Professionalism and leadership


  • Proven skills in analytical and developing reports


  • Strong technical and computer skills; Excel, SAP, CRM, PowerPoint, and PowerBI are preferred programs


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
