Join the Enterprise Technology & Data Team within Digital Citizenship as a Senior Counsel for Enterprise Technology & Data Ventures. In this role, you will provided day to day legal support for Walmart's Data Ventures Division. You will provide primary oversight of Walmart's Data Ventures product portfolio, support the business development team with negotiations, partner with the business to explore new revenue and strategic partnership opportunities, provide legal review of marketing materials, assist with integration of new technologies, and also be part of the team that supports Walmart Technology . In fulfilling your duties, you will partner cross-functionally with key business, engineering, legal stakeholders throughout the company, and draft and negotiate complex technology/data commercial agreements.

Developing business best practices and procedures that will mitigate corporate risk and accelerate the business.

You have experience providing technology transactional support and product counseling to technology and retail businesses.
You have experience providing legal support for data products.
You have provided legal support for data licensing in B2B transactions.
You have expertise in the fields of intellectual property, data privacy, and information security.
You have some knowledge of leading technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.
You havesubstantial, diverse legal experience (ex. combination of in-house, government, leading law firm, etc.).
You empower your business partners while working collaboratively to achieve cross-functional goals.
You work proactively and leverage preventative measures in the spirit of protecting stakeholders, customers, and employees.
You have a proven track record of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $175,000.00-$325,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
