60% FTE, 24 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:


  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients who may also have underlying medical problems.

  • Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Education:

Preferred – BSN

Work Experience:

Minimum – Six (6) months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience.

Preferred – Three (3) years current PACU experience with demonstrated success in meeting PACU competencies.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, CPR certification and ACLS certification.
